Survey of export & import cargo

(All items of goods including machinery, steel products, plant components, and foodstuff)

  1. Draft survey at both ends (determination of quantity for iron ore, grain, fertilizer and other bulk cargo)
  2. Stowage survey (confirmation of safe stowage for plant components, heavy /lengthy cargo, machinery)
  3. Sampling test (quality check on shipment, in transit and on delivery for coal, grain, fertilizer, etc.)
  4. Condition survey (on shipment, in transit and on delivery for steel products, machinery, vehicles, foodstuff, grain, fertilizer, etc.)
  5. Product inspection or Pre-shipment Inspection (required under sales contract or L/C)
  6. Damage survey (on damage sustained by all items)
  7. Supervising (for safe loading, carriage and delivery of plant components etc.)
  8. Inventory check (confirmation of stock quantity for salt, coal, fertilizer, etc.)
  9. Chemical analysis (quality check on delivery or in case of damage found)

  1. On hire /off hire survey (confirming ship’s condition on delivery / redelivery)
  2. Damage survey (on hull, machinery and other equipment at time of accident)
  3. Evaluation of ship and other equipment (including aircraft, vehicle, machinery and facilities)
  4. Survey on towage arrangement (for safety of the tow and tug)
  5. Survey for temporary shifting of ship (confirmation of proper arrangements for safe transit including hull, machinery, provisions and crew employment)
  6. Pre-sale inspection (on ship’s condition at time of delivery for sale).
  7. Lay-up survey (confirming ship’s safety when she is laid up)
  8. Determination of deadweight of coaster (based on the rule of Japan Federation of Coastal Shipping Associations)
  9. Determination of deadweight of barge (measuring its size and shape for calculation of the weight of cargo loaded)

Damage survey of domestic cargo & properties on insurance claims

  1. On the damage to the cargo carried by a coaster or truck including theft or other accidents.
  2. Relating to common carrier’s liability insurance
  3. On other non-marine insurances including Movables Comprehensive Insurance, Yacht and Motorboat Comprehensive Insurance, Product Liability Insurance and those covering natural disasters such as flood, typhoon and earthquake.

Consulting & related business

  5. Our experts qualified by Japan Security Systems Association consult for clients on security of their offices, stores, shops and other facilities.
  6. Inventory check on the dry bulk cargo stored in warehouse or open yard.
