Our laboratory is ready to conduct any type of physico-chemical test; from test of products of ever-progressing technology to analysis of fossil fuels, chemicals and other mineral products and to analysis of food, water-quality test and analysis of environment pollutant.

Nowadays, in Japan, foreign trades have been increasing. The goods include a wide variety of foods and chemicals of which high quality is constantly demanded. Therefore, a higher grade of analysis by a third party certification body is required to check the quality of goods under sales contracts, the Food Sanitation Law and the Law on the Quality Control of Gasoline and Other Fuels and investigate the cause of cargo damage. Accordingly, our Yokohama Laboratory, Hanshin laboratory and Kawasaki Chemical Analysis Office are ready to meet such requirements with our experienced specialists and newest type of equipment having high performance.

Our inspections, whether mandatory or independent, are conducted under the Food Sanitation Law and for quality control of foods in general, where we test for microorganism, shell-toxicity by mouse, additives, agricultural chemicals, antibiotic and other poisonous substance contained in imported foods to a wide range of items, and we also carry out standard test of their utensils, containers and packages.

We carry out quality tests of drinking water and of the water for miscellaneous use including pool water, cooling tower water and bathtub water.

We investigate into air-environmental problems, drainage and other problems relating to the Base convention and RoHS.

We conduct analysis of aromatics, alcohol, amine, plastics raw materials and various solvents according to the standards of JIS and ASTM. In addition, we carry out qualitative and quantitative analysis by means of GC and GC-MS.

We test minerals and inorganic industrial chemicals according to JIS, and test fertilizer based on fertilizer analysis methods.

We test crude oil, volatile oil, kerosene, gas oil, heavy oil, coal, bio fuel, etc. in order to confirm whether or not their quality is in conformity with the contractual specifications, and we also carry out an inspection under the Law on the Quality Control of Gasoline and Other Fuels.
